What to include

Never send your Apple Account password, verification codes or payment card details.

iCloud and shared collections

For sync between your devices, check that you use the intended Apple Account and that iCloud is available. Allow time for transfers, especially photos and documents.

Shared collections use explicit invitations. Pro owners can select items from My Collection and invite read-only viewers. An item can belong to several shared collections, and its original stays in My Collection. Collection invitations are separate from App Store purchase sharing.

If an invitation or update does not arrive, check the intended Apple Account, network connection and invitation status. Removing someone’s access cannot recall copies they have already saved.

Restore a backup safely

Export a backup before replacing or deleting personal data. Existing owned shared collections must first be removed through iCloud; if this cannot finish, keep the existing data and retry when connected.

Shared collections restored from a backup appear as drafts. Review their selected items and information profile, choose Prepare for Sharing, then invite people again. Restoring does not reissue old invitations. Collections shared with you are managed separately.

If a sync or restore problem occurs, keep the existing app and data in place and contact support with the error shown. Do not uninstall the app as an initial troubleshooting step.

Pro purchases

If Pro was purchased with the current App Store account, use Restore Purchases in the app. Apple handles billing and refunds through its App Store services.

Updating LotBook

App Store updates are installed by Apple. Enable automatic app updates in system settings or update through the App Store. LotBook also offers Settings → Check for Updates and Settings → What’s New.
